Pet care in Dana Point and the surrounding areas of San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano and Laguna Niguel has become and swamp of mix and match options. You can get anything from a neighbor’s daughter popping in to see if your cat or dog is still in good shape all the way to drop-in centers that have dogs and cats treated like a children’s day care center.
But here’s an interesting dilemma. What if your pet has just had a recent surgery or is not doing well and under medication from his or her local veterinarian? What if your pet suddenly becomes unwell during pet sitting or caring? What if you have to go away overnight? These are all issues that can be very unsettling especially if you consider you pet a member of the family or they are still young in age and you want them to be here for the long haul.
That’s what makes us different at Mike’s Pet Care. I am a fully qualified vet tech with many years experience with a variety of animals, not just cats and dogs. If your pet needs to be cared for and has medication that needs to be administered, don’t bother a family member to call and take him to the vet center, just call me and I’ll administer the drug and look after your pet for as long as necessary to make sure he or she  becomes well again. As long as you have the medication in hand (we don’t prescribe) then we can administer the dose.
You don’t have to leave your home. We come to you. That’s the beauty of Mike’s Pet care. Even if you have an important meeting and need to be out of town for a few days and Tiddles is a little under the weather, you can get the next door neighbor’s kid to look in and worry for a few days or you can get Mike on the job and receive updates via e-mail that all is well or that another visit to the vet is due. Again, do not worry. At Mike’s Pet Care we have great relationships with all the local Vet surgeries and if emergency action needs to be taken then we’ll be there for you and your pet!
